1/26/2007 - BRIAN DUNKLEMAN STILL NOT BACK ON AMERICAN IDOL
We sorrowfully mark the beginning of the sixth season of American Idol that has not included Brian Dunkleman. Brian Dunkleman, we haven't forgotten about you, even though we haven't heard a thing about you since last season of American Idol. The only good news is that Ryan Seacrest still sucks as the illegitimate host of American Idol. We're keeping our fingers crossed that they'll throw you a frickin' bone and at least bring you back as a celebrity guest one week. Something anyway.
3/9/2006 - DUNKLEMAN/ERIC THE MIDGET JOINT AN UNMITIGATED DISASTER
Howard Stern demanded that Brian Dunkleman be removed from Eric The Midget's show. Early reports are that Brian Dunkleman "ruined" the Idol Wrap-Up show and that neither he nor Eric The Midget even watched that evening's show prior to their discussion. Brian Dunkleman phoned in to the Howard Stern Wrap-Up Show this morning to clarify things: "I was told 'you're the guy who has to talk. I brought one buddy ... which I cleared with Jim McClure (the program director, not sure on the spelling) ... but this other guy crashed the whole show. Seemed like a good guy, but I had no idea who he was." "I've gotta apologize. I'm pretty drunk right now." Quite a mess and in all fairness we're in the process of contacting Dunkleman for comment. This coupled with the recent hacking and destruction of idolgohome.com has cast a very dark pall over Dunkleman's comeback. Could the alleged vast right-wing conspiracy once again be rearing it's ugly head to bring our boy Dunkleman down? Stay tuned...

2/13/06 - Howard 100 News breaks the story that Howard Stern Show Wack Pack member Eric The Midget will be hosting an American Idol Wrap-Up show
The show will debut on Sirius Howard 100 on 2/22 immediately following that night's broadcast of American Idol. There will be a surprise guest co-host, none other than America's Favorite Other Guy, Brian Dunkleman!When asked by Howard 100 News if he felt like this was a 'come-down', Dunkleman responded, "A come-down? If working for Howard Stern is a come-down that's crazy for me..." Brian is aware that he'll have to do most of the talking. "No problem. I love the sound of my own voice." When Dunkleman was told that Eric The Midget might have some difficulty flying down for the broadcast, Brian said, "I'll fly to San Francisco, pick the midget up, I'll take him to the bathroom just as long as he can wipe his own ass." Man let me tell you I was quite shocked to hear Dunkleman's voice. A total phoenix rising moment. I almost went through a red light.
BRIAN DUNKLEMAN: WHITHER ART THOU?
With the recent season of American Idol I found myself wondering aloud about whatever the heck happened to the very epitome of the other guy: Brian Dunkleman. Truth be told, I couldn't even remember his name. And actually once my circle of friends and I figured out that his last name was Dunkleman, it took us no less than a week to remember that his first name was Brian.
I couldn't even remember what he looked like. After a bit of serious digging, we discovered that back in his heyday he looked something like this:

It was this man who helped fill those awkward Simon Cowell critique moments with tension-breaking antics. And thanks to his dry wit and carefree chicanery millions of kids around the world are now drinking more Coca-Cola than ever. So like, sheesh man, this is like the lost half of the dynamic duo that helped make American Idol what it is today, and our brother doesn't even have a fan site.

In the fall of 2002, a vast right-wing conspiracy brought about a grave injustice upon this once great nation when Ryan Seacrest was re-signed as host of Season 2 of American Idol and Brian Dunkleman was unceremoniously shown the door. We believe that FOX should right this grievous wrong. We believe that Brian Dunkleman should be reinstated as the sole host of American Idol and that Ryan Seacrest be given the 'ol steeltoe in the pants...
